Theodore Swanson is a veteran trial lawyer with over 20 years of experience practicing law in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. The founder and managing attorney of Resolute Trials, he understands the challenges of navigating the court system and is uniquely qualified to represent people who are victims of sex trafficking or sex abuse, have been charged with crimes, and in lemon law and personal injury claims. He also offers his extensive experience to solo and small firm practitioners who need assistance taking a case to trial. With a background in civil and criminal law, Attorney Swanson knows how to evaluate a case, prepare for trial, and — most importantly — persuade a jury.
Attorney Swanson began his career with a prestigious civil law firm before he joined the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office in order to try more cases. There, he rose through the ranks to become the Deputy in Charge of the County’s Human Sex Trafficking Section. He subsequently joined one of California’s premier lemon law firms, where he was senior trial counsel and completed the most trials in a single year of any attorney in the office.
Now the managing attorney of Resolute Trials, Ted Swanson fights exploitative corporations and industries, and helps his clients rebuild their lives after experiencing abuse or horrendous accidents. For Mr. Swanson, securing justice used to mean holding those who abused others criminally responsible for their offenses. While his duties and responsibilities towards his clients remain the same, he now uses his skill and expertise to hold perpetrators accountable for the harm they cause by obtaining monetary compensation against them.
If you are looking for a trial lawyer with the passion, aggressiveness, and experience to fight for you and win, look no further than Resolute Trials. You will find that Mr. Swanson is patient, dedicated, intelligent, and has an uncanny ability to connect with people, judges, and juries as he strives to find solutions and win trials.
Mr. Swanson lives in Los Angeles County with his two children. When he is not practicing law, he enjoys snowboarding, playing flag football, writing books, drumming, reading, and watching movies.
